We are looking for an International Logistics Coordinator on will provide effective coordination and execution of reservation/booking arrangements of international/export shipments. 


  • Responsible for the daily execution of ocean carrier reservations/bookings for selected facilities, $20 MM in annual logistics spend
  • Responsible for achieving all fiscal year financial and performance goals and objectives
  • Responsible for weekly service metric review; including cost, logistics services, and documents on-time
  • Ensure ocean carrier timely receipt and response of bookings
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best logistics solution to service customer needs
  • Partner directly with freight forwarder to ensure documentation is completed on-time
  • Communicate frequently with internal/external customers and carriers
  • Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities
  • Maintain international/export ISO compliance


  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 1-2 years related Logistics experience (International/Export industry knowledge and terminology preferred)
  • Transportation Management System ideal (Manhattan, SAP, and/or Oracle Transportation Management System a plus)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to quickly analyze problem situations and make fact based decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must possess strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, and negotiations skills
  • Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Task oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Thorough understanding of transportation modes and solutions
  • Up to 5-10% travel
