Currently for our office in Newcastle we are looking for an:


Account Coordinator


Position highlight: as Account Coordinator you have direct responsibility for specific customer accounts, as directed.  Frequently, you will also support other accounts to achieve overall team objectives.  Each day, you will ensure quick and accurate responses to both customer and sites, building effective customer relationships, working capital and contributing to profitability as a member of the Customer Service Team.

How you will impact WestRock:

  • Proactively manage both internal and external stakeholders through understanding requirements and delivering right the first time
  • Manage day to day customer orders and liaise between the customer and all internal departments
  • Skilful planning to minimise raw material and finished goods stockholding whilst maintaining continuity of supply
  • Committing to memory our pricing strategies to then contribute and maximize profitability
  • Engaging in meetings including customer visits where appropriate
  • Being a willing and flexible team member ready to take on new and expanding tasks as appropriate

What you need to succeed:

  • You enjoy a fast pace and are driven to deliver excellent customer service
  • You enjoy working as part of a team
  • You are adaptable and willing to flex to meet business and customer requirements 
  • Ability to plan and co-ordinate priorities within a team environment
  • Appropriate standard of verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Packages including highly competent in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software and systems
  • Proven experience of working to high quality standards
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and manage time effectively
