The Customer Service Manager manages the activities of a team of Customer Service Representatives, ensuring effective delivery of service to all levels of internal and external customers. This position requires mentoring, coaching and leadership skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary liaison with corrugated sales, logistics/supply chain, and manufacturing staff on the effective delivery of customer service.
- Assists in interviewing and hiring Customer Service Representatives and will assist in training and development of staff.
- Orders and processes print plate purchasing and maintains price increase logs and miscellaneous reports.
- The Manager is a member of the plant Leadership Team.
- Other duties as assigned
3-5 years of customer service management experience in a manufacturing environment; corrugated experience very desirable.
High school diploma, college degree strongly preferred.
Strong problem resolution skills.
Ability to interact with plant executive management.
Excellent verbal and written skills required; ability to lead meetings.
Must have good computer skills including use of MS Word and Excel
