CAREER OPPORTUNITY:  The Chattanooga TN facility has an opening for a Manager, Project Management.  This position has responsibility for project management in the location and has supervisory responsibility for their team.  This is a position which requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, interact with a diverse group of people, and requires attention to detail. 

How you will impact WestRock:

  • Responsible for the performance of the Project Coordinators on his/her team; schedule and manage work activities ensuring that job requirements are met

  • Understand project management duties and perform all duties as required (back up, work spikes etc.)

  • Responsible for employee development; coach, mentor, train, and conduct performance reviews

  • Responsible for HR functions related to the SPM group; participate in hiring process, discipline process

  • Foster strong relationships with internal customers (Sales, Design, Divisional office and Assembly Division) and external customers 

  • Travel to customer locations and WestRock facilities as needed

  • Support new technology (software, hardware and new systems.)  Be an active participant in the process and assume ultimate training responsibility for team. 

  • Support and participate in process improvements 

  • Direct and participate in launches, special project pricing and project management and other projects as designated by Management.

  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or related field from an accredited academic institution.

  • MBA is a plus

  •  5 to 10 years of POP industry experience

  • Previous management experience

  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
