Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift
WestRock has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor our St. Cloud, MN location. This role serves as the direct line supervisor of employees, including managing schedules, training, productivity and discipline when necessary. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the daily production schedule and changes, logistics for the shipping and receiving of raw materials and ensuring quality control of all product. This position is on 3rd Shift (M-F 11pm-7am) with initial training occurring on 1st Shift (M-F 7am-3pm).
How you will impact WestRock:
The Production Supervisor is a critical link in the production process and employee relations. They have working knowledge of all machines in the production area, verify daily orders and quality check off’s at each machine, assist with problem solving of individuals machines, responsible for training of all new employees and current employees on process changes, and assure that all employees are following good safety and ergonomic practices.
What you need to succeed:
The Production Supervisor role requires a working knowledge of manufacturing process and procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude is a must. The Production Supervisor must be an independent worker with quality and safety centric orientation. They must be able to effectively manage time, shifting priorities and have strong communication skills.
Knowledge of corrugate/paper/packaging industry is a plus.
