Metal Paint Line Worker 2nd Shift
Start Pay $12.00/hour
The Metal Paint Line position is responsible for hanging raw metal parts on the paint line for processing in the powder coat system. Associate is required to change hooks as needed and to remove painted metal parts off the line, while verifying quality and quantity.
Pre-hang raw metal parts on the paint line without product standards.
Change hook bars, as needed without production standards
Inspect parts before hanging, without production standards
Change paint hooks, per hook size, as needed without production standards
Count and record small metal parts and powder paint containers, as needed for physical inventory
Rotate positions during breaks
Inspect painted parts for quality issues
Install/remove weld nut plugs and weld stud caps
Assist hand spraying and tank clean-up
Maintain housekeeping standards, including sweeping and wiping down equipment
Other duties, as assigned
What you need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED minimum
- Experience with powder coating or in a manufacturing environment a plus
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with others in a team-based environment
- Ability to maintain an efficient pace
