The Opportunity:

Production scheduler is responsible for the smooth and seamless scheduling of the planned production in each department in the plant.



Setting goals and objectives.

Advocate for safe working environment.

Up-holding all  quality expectations.

Updates the schedule assistant software daily.

Plans the schedule workflow.

Leads a daily schedule meeting.

Orders board for all jobs as they are entered into the schedule.

Ensures that the production flows without incident.



What You Need to Succeed:

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

1 year or less of related job experience is preferred.

Must be proficient with computer systems and programs including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with JDE or other accounting systems preferred.

Communication, leadership, strategic and tactical planning, problem solving, mentoring.

Politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems.

Exceptional written, verbal and listening skills in order to effectively interact across all levels within the organization.Data analysis, statistical methods.

Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles and tools.

A mindset for innovation and change management.
