Develop and implement action sales plan for increasing plant income, volume (i.e.; sales, creating efficiencies, etc.). Work closely with sales manager and sales representatives in developing and maintaining key account relationships.
Focus effort on closing the highest potential, hot accounts, in the market based on plant(s) capacity
Ensure target accounts match with the margin, capacity, and strength requirements of your operating units.
Set and maintain appropriate policy for tooling, outside purchases, etc.
Ensure all customer feedback is promptly dealt with and any complaints are corrected immediately Provide a vision for the plant strategically linking resources of the facility with its respective markets.
Direct quality, customer service, on-time delivery and additional KPI to ensure world class customer satisfaction.
Drive productivity, operational efficiency and maintenance to bring machines back to OEM Levels.
Control cost within budgetary limits to achieve profitability.
Review and understand annual budget, forecasts, and monthly financial summaries for plant.
Assure that on a daily basis all WestRock values, standards, and Customer Commitments (i.e.; sales, quality,
R&A, safety, employee relations, on-time delivery, reporting etc.) are followed.
