Manages all maintenance systems which include equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and maintenance records.
Develops action plans to address maintenance inefficiencies and repeat equipment failures.
Sets department objectives for improving safety, employee training, quality, cost, and productivity as well as development of the maintenance budget.
Develops salaried department employees through effective communication, training, and supervisory skills.
Interfaces with all operating departments.
Investigates problems to ensure efficient facility operation and determines root cause to prevent reoccurrence.
Coordinates efforts with maintenance and operating departments.
Ensures activities are in compliance with mill, company, state, and federal policies and guidelines as it relates to the safety of employees and the execution of work.
Monitors behaviors within organizational boundaries to maintain a culture embedded in professionalism, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, respect, and trust.
