DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Read and understand Schematics electrical, hydraulic, steam. Pnumatic,
installation and assembly
Have a working knowledge of production equipment
Must have a forklift and lift truck license
Must be able to diagnose and repair forklift equipment
Must have the ability to weld, gas and electrical and use an acetylene torch
Must understand electric trouble shoot blown fuses and tripped breakers
Have a working knowledge of a steam boiler and be familiar with a
Have working knowledge of plumbing water, steam, electrical conduit
and waste water
Have working knowledge of pumps Gear vane diaphragm and vacuum
Willing to learn machines and work towards next maintenance classification
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing, pushing, pulling, grasping, fine manipulation and visual acuity for color perception. Ability to communicate with machine operators and managers, verbally and in writing. Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs as necessary, and the ability to work at heights and in small or enclosed work spaces when necessary to perform diagnostics, repairs or routine maintenance.
A minimum educational level of high school graduate.
