Collaborate with security counterparts at local facilities to lead and manage the global physical security program; ensure consistent, cost-effective implementation of best practices, policies, procedures and equipment.
Develop and monitor security programs including global traveler security measures, crisis management and business continuity plans.
Support site compliance with Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards, Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism and other regulatory security requirements.
Lead Security Vulnerability Assessment (SVA) program; coordinate security audits at WestRock sites throughout the world.
Engage with security providers, vendors and services to address and respond to workplace violence incidents and other security issues worldwide.
Conduct and support investigations into security incidents, misconduct, theft and fraud.
Liaise with external security organizations to stay abreast of current security trends, patterns and solutions.
Must be a security professional with corporate security experience or the equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a corporate or government environment.
Certified Protection Professional certification desirable.
Federal law enforcement and international experience preferred.
Must have strong interpersonal, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate and influence effectively within a multi-national, multicultural, setting.
Ability to influence, build strong relationships/networks, effectively manage vendor relationships.
Must be highly motivated, reliable; brings energy, collaboration, teamwork, a "can do" flexible attitude, and a desire to work.

Ability to establish credibility as a business partner, gain "buy-in from stakeholders, maintain focus/composure under pressure.
Demonstrated competence in project management, including on time/budget delivery.
The role requires both domestic and international travel.
