Perform analysis of business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity and testability.
Define testing scope, approach, risks and assumptions for multiple, large, complex, or strategic software projects that are utilizing an agile development methodology.
Write test plans including defining entry and exit criteria for each phase of testing and design, build and prioritize test cases.
Create and maintain project testing schedule to track progress and ensure completion of testing within scheduled timeframes.
Design and maintain the test automation framework and toolset to increase reusability and maintainability of regression tests.
Execute testing, leveraging automated testing wherever possible.
Document and report defects within established process and tracking system, ensure that defects are managed through various stages of the development cycle and manage defects reporting process for projects.
Participate in the technical review of project deliverables including user stories, requirement specifications, functional designs, technical designs and other project documentation to ensure the testability of requirements.
Work with development and user community to define and develop testing requirements to validate software solutions were built to specifications.
Coach and mentor QA Analysts and other stakeholders in Software Quality Assurance processes, practices, and business application functionality.
Work with Product Management and Development on communicating clarifications, approvals, priority and scheduling for all defect remediation tasks.
Understand and debug complex eCommerce features that include running tests across multiple environments/vendors/technologies. For example, end-to-end online tax and payment processing.
Identify, recruit, develop and retain talent that delivers performance excellence and serve as a leader of company culture, norms and conduct.
Must have 3+ years of quality assurance management experience delivering eCommerce solutions; 1+ year of experience in B2B eCommerce environment a plus.
Ability to lead projects and coordinate activities through a diverse group of people including internal co-workers, as well as, external contractors and consultants. The ability to coordinate and guide collaboration between IT staff and business users is especially critical.
Prior experience selecting, implementing and administering a defect management system.
Experience with multiple desktop and mobile operating systems and web browsers.
Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers.
High level of familiarity with current digital practices, trends and topics.
Knowledge of mobile first and responsive content strategies.
Knowledge of the stages of the user journey and/or lifecycle pathing.
