Currently we are looking for an experienced  

Field Service Engineer

Based in North West England


Position Highlight: To provide remote and onsite technical support and expertise to install and maintain WRK machinery at Customers sites in UK & Ireland supporting the WRK Systems message.  Exceptionally travel outside this territory may be required in support of multinational customers.

How you will impact WestRock:

  •  Maintaining and servicing existing WestRock machinery installed at Customer sites in a highly professional manner
  • Installing and commissioning new WestRock machinery at Customers sites
  • Proactively supplying technical advise and sharing technical expertise in resolving customers' technical issues
  • Proactively monitoring and recording machinery performance to pre-empt potential problems developing and communicating this effectively to the customer and WestRock organization
  • Proactively sharing with commercial department business leads and opportunities or threats encountered during site visits
  • Maintaining daily records of work completed at customers' plants and ensuring Customers are made aware of the engineer’s presence on site as a point of difference
  • Proactively reporting back customers requirements and concerns on a regular basis to the Engineering Manager
  • Supporting the 24 hour “call-out” rota system

 What you need to succeed:

  •  Min. 3 years of experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a service organization
  • Advanced mechanical skills
  • Advanced electrical  skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel – up to 80%
