Coordinator II
Starting
Pay $18.10 an hour, higher rates based upon job experience.

Opportunity
Responsible
for allocating all raw materials and scheduling all jobs. Create and manage all Combos. Provide backup functionality for variety of
positions, primarily Scheduler. Manage
materials procurement/inventories as assigned. Provide solutions and ideas for improvements to job order processing,
Scheduling, and materials management. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Follow all
WestRock Core Values and Behaviors. Additional job duties as assigned by
Supervisor.
Written/Verbal Communications Skills: Must follow detailed
instructions for training and quality.
Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills (Working knowledge
of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Email, AS400, Schedule Assistant).
Proficient in Algebra:
Organizational Skills/Multi-task/Attention to details: Prioritize workload to
meet deadlines and provide follow up to appropriate staff on plant issues.
Expectations/Guidelines:
Allocate all raw
materials to jobs.
Add all job
orders to schedule.
Build and maintain
datasets for all information pertaining to machine and/or die specific
information related to scheduling. Includes but is not limited to:
Die structure
similarities.
Specific/special
path information.
Default and
special run speeds.
Die/nick-sheet
usage.
Update
Die/nick-sheet status in Schedule Assistant job notes.
Maintain reports,
databases, and metrics required for Scheduling function/ PE Sub pillar.
Assist in
maintenance of carton samples.
Back up Scheduler
position as needed.
Back up for CS Coordinator
I position as needed (price verification, filing etc.).
Manage
procurement and inventory for materials as assigned.
Back up for
Material Coordinator I – Corrugated/Supply position as needed.
Coordinate
Transfers.
Actively seek and
recommend process improvements.
Maintain active
PP – Scheduling sub pillar membership
Essential/Marginal Functions and Physical Requirements
Essential: Sit at computer terminal, using telephone,
walking around office, pulling file drawers, keying on keyboard, grasping
office tools, i.e. pencils, pens, stapler, telephone receiver. Walking around
manufacturing facility.
Marginal: Lifting sample cases. Standing at copier
Education Requirement(s): Minimum High School
Diploma/GED.
