The Logistics/Inventory Administrator position will assist the Logistics Manager in all aspects of warehousing and distribution for the plant.
This is a temporary position for a 4 month period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Review all invoices pertaining to company purchases for accuracy, and “receive” all purchase orders in the Radius ERP system.
- Run daily “Shipping Request” report from Radius ERP system; review report for missed shipments the day before; advise management of findings, etc.
- Return orders in Radius for incorrect invoices
- Prepare documentation and complete system entries for outsourced work
- Participate in investigations pertaining to non-compliance reports
- Communicate department procedures to all Warehouse Employees
- Maintain and update procedures for material handling
- Assist in plant inventory audits and inventory cycle counts
- Generate inventory reports to maintain inventory accuracy
- Provide daily tracking updates Process parcels (FedEx/UPS) jobs
- Must work independently with internal customers to achieve company goals
- Perform all other duties as assigned
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED minimum. Must have knowledge of warehousing and distribution with at least 3 years’ experience within a Material Handling department.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and basic computer skills. Must be proficient with Excel spreadsheets and data entry.
Must have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a self-starter.
