The opportunity:

We are seeking a SR Manager of Mill Capital Procurement. This position will report to the Director Mill Procurement. This position will manage and oversee overall Capital procurement and OEM parts for the Containerboard Mill Division of WestRock. Lead strategic sourcing activities for assigned categories of spend, capturing savings through purchasing volume and negotiating TCO contracts with suppliers in support of company objectives. Work closely with functional stakeholder teams and suppliers to ensure effective cost strategies and implementation plans are implemented.


How you will impact WestRock:

  • Actively participates in annual budgeting process at the Division Level

  • Provides fact based understanding of bottom line benefit of all decisions and opportunities.

  • Responsible to identifying production or cost saving opportunities and complete or assist in analysis to determine potential upside and a path to achieve.

  • Insures compliance of internal controls as it relates to both WestRock and Containerboard Mill Division policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Business discipline

  • 7+ years of related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
