Key Account Manager - Healthcare (Poland or Germany)

 

The Key Account Manager role acts as an ambassador for the company representing and selling the MPS multi product, service and supply capabilities to key account customers with the aim of optimising sales volumes, margins and growth opportunities.

Key Accountabilities include:

·         Achieve and surpass annual sales and development targets for your portfolio of key accounts

·         Identify enterprise and cross selling opportunities of new and existing products to key account customers

·         Improve margin and organic growth with existing business customers through a proactive sales/service relationship and a developed awareness of the customer’s needs.

·         Negotiate contractual terms where they do not exist in order to formalise the basis of the trading relationship

·         Provide accurate short, medium and long-term forecasts as necessary, working with the business to develop accurate budget volumes and phasing & produce and analyse key account KPI’s

·         Co-ordinate the development and improvement of service and quality, balancing the need to maintain margin and the need to meet growing customer expectations.

·         Manage projects (including new product developments) within the business ensuring the correct level of customer focus is achieved

·         Develop and maintain a professional customer relationship that improves the flow of communication, understanding and increases loyalty to the business

·         Engage with site customer services/ stakeholders regularly regarding current and future business needs

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

·         Minimum 2-3 years of sales or business development experience in a multinational company

·         Proven track record of sales development and sales of NPI

·         Budget and cost management

·         Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and presentation, negotiation and influencing skills

·         Customer needs analysis

·         Proven ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships & lead cross functional teams to achieve agreed outcomes

·         Project management and problem solving skills

·         Product and service knowledge

·         Commercial acumen & Technical aptitude

·         Broad knowledge of manufacturing process

·         Language skills-English and at least one other European language (Polish, French, or Spanish would be highly regarded)
