We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to be located at our food service packaging plant in Know, IN.
How you will impact Westrock:
The Customer Service Manager Supervises and manages the customer service department and serves as liaison between the customer and the plant to fulfill orders and ensure customer satisfaction with products
Develops relationships with current and future customers assuring total customer care.
Formalizes processes and procedures to ensure total customer satisfaction is met.
Develops team members for consistency with the expectation of exceeding our customers’ expectations every time.
Manages jobs efficiently from start to finish including administrative duties
Leads the onboarding of all new business.
Coordinates the billing of services.
Reports and presents any variance from contract terms for each customer.
Partners with the Scheduling and Materials department to create business forecasts.
RFQs and RFIs – Part of the business development team.
Follows up with customer regarding status of approvals.
Works with Quality Manager to clearly communicate customer driven specifications and ensure their execution.
Provides administrative support to sales team.
Provides other assistance to the General Manager as requested.
Works proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company.
Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures and instructions.
Perform all duties according to established safety policy, including wearing all required PPEs to perform duties.
Willing to work flexible hours, if necessary.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Folding Carton or Container industry experience highly preferable.
Excellent organizational skills to include follow-up and accountability.
Professional customer satisfaction skills needed to maintain positive external and internal relationships.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to include effective listening. Must be able to understand and/or explain technical procedures.
Proficiency in computer applications to include Microsoft Word and Excel.
Ability to easily adapt to fluctuations in business cycles and workload.
Attention to detail is critical to maintain accuracy and fulfill customer expectations.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
College degree highly desirable.
Position reports to the General Manager.
