Summary

 

The Project Coordinator Data Analyst position is responsible for analyzing daily activities and production data.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following

 

  • Liaison with customers to analyze daily receipts, shipments, and production activities
  • Audit bill on production data and determine billable opportunities
  • Use various software programs, including WRMD proprietary software
  • Act as a point of contact with Customers, Sales Project Coordinators and Manufacturing Project Coordinators on one time charges, such as tooling, overtime issues, scrap and rework
  • Interact with Account Executives, Sales Project Coordinators and customer planners to assure completion of projects; problem solve as needed
  • Receive and verify customer purchase orders
  • Create and submit sales orders to WRMD Accounts Receivable department upon receipt of customer purchase order
  • Resolve discrepancies and settle purchase order disputes
  • Proactively track, evaluate and maintain data on unbilled/un-reconciled tooling
  • Assist Manufacturing PC with monthly inventory reconciliation
  • Research non-moving inventory items (no activity for 90 days)
  • Prepare customer specific inventory summaries on a monthly or quarterly basis, as appropriate
  • Promptly devalue and scrap obsolete and/or over-run inventory in the AS400
  • Complete and submit customer specific obsolete material forms to Account Executives
  • Act as a liaison with the WRMD Accounting Department; provide accurate information to generate the shipping and tooling accruals
  • Other duties as required

Education and/or Experience                                                

High school diploma or GED minimum. 2 year degree preferred or at least 1 to 3 years industry experience.

 

Language Skills                                                            

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                   

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

 

Reasoning Ability                                                       

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills                                                           

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and basic computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in AS400, Word, Excel and WRMD proprietary software programs. 

 

Other Qualifications

Previous customer service experience; project management skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills are required.
