Career Opportunity: 
This position has primary responsibility for project management in
the location(s) and has supervisory responsibility for the department. 


How you will impact WestRock:
 Responsible for the performance of the Project Coordinators on his/her team; schedule
and manage work activities ensuring that job requirements are met
Understand      project management duties and perform all duties as required (back up,
work spikes etc.)
Responsible for employee development;  coach, mentor,
train, and conduct performance reviews
Responsible for HR functions related to the SPM group; participate in hiring process,
discipline process
Foster strong relationships with internal customers  (Mfg. Plant(s) Sales, Design Groups, Divisional office and Assembly Groups) and external customers
Travel to customer locations and WRMD facilities as needed
Support new technology (software, hardware and new systems.)  Be an active participant in the process
and assume ultimate training responsibility for team.
Support and participate in process improvements
Direct  and participate in launches, special project pricing and project
management and other projects as designated by Management.
Other duties as assigned/needed

What you need to succeed:
This position requires a four year degree in a business or related
field from an accredited academic institution. MBA is a plus. In addition, 5 to
10 years of  industry  experience and previous management experience is also required.
The position requires strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, as
well as the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, and to lead a dynamic team in a fast paced and changing environment.
