The opportunity:

·       Gain new customers and business for WestRock’s products/services

·    Manage, retain and grow existing client base through the Packaging Consultant Customer End to End engagement process

·       Provide customers with cost saving initiatives to generate new business

·       Grow existing business, support margin increases and support extended contracts


How you will impact WestRock:

·       Grow net revenue and volume generation with prospect, current, and national account customers through the end to end engagement process

·       Pursue and identify opportunities that yield ROI for both the customer and WestRock

·       Manage/enhance revenue and profitability of assigned existing accounts to include: 

o   Contact approved customers to approved customers to engage their involvement and commitment to the End to End process

o   Work with account representatives, local and national sales, operations, design, and our customers personnel to identify, analyze, and evaluate supply chain opportunities


o   Work with customer to evaluate appropriate supply chain opportunities designed to reduce cost of ownership and yield customer ROI

o   Work with WestRock sales group to ensure ROI to WestRock on offered customer solutions

o   Present recommendations-proposals for supply chain improvements to customers, WestRock team members, and actively participate on appropriate project teams to ensure implementation

o   Establish end to end implementation plans and customer follow-up strategies

·       Work cross-functionally within the WestRock team to identify, develop and maintain sourcing opportunities, target customers, and market trends

·       Answer complex questions as it relates to services and products provided by the organization

·       Identify and solve customer problems

·       Generate ongoing status reports & end to end follow-up to ensure contracted/expected ROI will be actualized

·       May be requested to do special assignments, as required


What you need to succeed:

·       A BS degree in Industrial Technology, Sales, Marketing or related area is preferred

·       6+ years of directly related experience

·       Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement and LSS methodology is preferred

·       Project management experience strongly preferred
