  • Operates machinery keeping up with schedule of workload. 

  • Sets up  DSE (Domino Signature Editor) and Editor GT (GraphTech) software.

  • Maintains awareness of the interaction between the software and machine operation.

  • Looks up and understands customer requirements.

  • Follows start up, cleaning and shutdown procedures for Bitjet & DOD machine.

  • Transfers Data files.

  • Follows MPS QC processes.

  • Sets up Label and Magnetic encoder per ISO standards.

  • Sets up Axode Camera System per job specifications.

  • Checks mag encoding and barcode grading per MPS QC process.

  • Trained as a Lock Out Tag Out Affected Employee

  • Notifies Authorized Lock Out Tag Out personnel to lock out machine if and when an unsafe condition is noted.

  • Notifies Shift Lead or Shift Mechanic to troubleshoot issues requiring machine safety guard or panel removal and the locking out of the machine.  

  • Accounts for all QC cards.

  • Maintains machine so quality and performance are not affected.

  • Performs PRISM counts accurately and enter into the system.

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.



  • Must have experience with inkjet equipment and machine maintenance.

  • Must be able to multi-task

  • Must be able to work in a team, directing others as needed

  • Experience in the card industry is preferred, but not required

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED

  • Must have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondence.

  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.

  • Must pass basic reading test.

  • Must have strong mathematical skills.

  • Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.

  • Must pass color vision test.

  • Must have intermediate computer skills (email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.).

  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.

  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
