ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Organizes personnel to keep jobs and equipment running in the most effective manner.

  • Looks-up and understands customer requirements.

  • Based on the schedule and production requirements, submits daily inventory requests for WIP.

  • Ensures that all supplies and Raw Materials are available for upcoming jobs, including current job ticket.

  • Ensures that all department personnel adhere to MPS QC processes and procedures.

  • Maintains 5S conditions throughout the department.

  • Ensures that all safety procedures are being followed.

  • Helps develop and train all production employees, temporary, and full-time.

  • Enters accurate count into Prism system and verifies operator entries.

  • Makes inventory adjustments as needed.

  • Performs all functions of an Affixing operator when needed.

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.

  • Prior supervisory experience a plus.
  • Must have related experience and/or training.
  • Must have the ability to read and write instructions and correspondence.
  • Must have experience with affixing/mailing equipment including machine maintenance.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Must pass basic reading test.
  • Must have strong math skills.
  • Must pass color vision test.
  • Must have basic computer skills (email, word processing, etc.)
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
