Assist Quality Assurance Director with daily routine appraisal function of the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines and the company Standard Operating Procedures.  Responsible for control of documents.


·         Provides supervision and workload distribution to Quality Assurance Technicians.

·         Reviews and signs off on all finishing and final inspection records.

·         Creates Certificates of Compliance for customers, including samples and bar coding reports.

·         Responds to customer service requests and sales inquiries.

·         Oversees the sorting function.

·         Performs SOP training for Quality Assurance Technicians to ensure compliance of departmental SOPs.

·         Maintains calibration due dates and records.

·         Determines product compliance and answers discrepancy issues.

·         Compiles color standard tolerance books for customers.

·         Performs the Quality Technician role when there is an absence.

·         Responsible for Maintenance of all documents using the Corporate Intelex Doc Control System.

·         Performs other job duties as assigned.


  • Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Must have a minimum of 4 years’ Quality Control experience.
  • Must have good communications skills and the ability to give directions when required.
  • Must have knowledge of cGMPs and SOPs for Quality.
  • Must understand basic math and be able to use a calculator.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Must be able to differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable material.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.
  • Must pass color vision test and color hue tests.
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
