We are seeking Production Workers for our Paper Mill in St. Paul, Minnesota. In operation since 1908, the St. Paul Mill is a leading producer of Coated Recycled Boxboard. The mill is the only producer of MillMask© CRB, which uses a unique masking technologies for stain resistance.   Additionally, the St. Paul Mill is one of the few mills in the region with off-machine sheeting capabilities, which offers the versatility to supply sheets as well as rolls.

Production Worker - St. Paul, Minnesota

Starting wage $17.57-$19.14 per hour

Job Summary:

Qualified production workers to safely perform a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas of the paper mill in St. Paul.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks supporting the manufacturing areas.   Department duties (depending on position) may include assisting with felt changes, set-up and operation of reels, roll hauling, loading trailer or railroad cars, banding rolls, changing seal water filters, clean cooling water towers, housekeeping, painting, etc.   Will be trained as relief on other jobs in department. Maintains equipment in safe working condition.   Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

 - Must be at least 18 years old.
 - High school diploma or equivalent.
 - Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, have mechanical aptitude and a desire to learn manufacturing processes.
 - Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations.
 - Must be available to work day, afternoon, and night shifts on a rotating basis.
