The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for Maintenance Tech to set-up and maintain insert folding equipment including weekly and monthly preventative maintenance. 
Essential Job Functions:
Locates flatstock to make ready for folding inserts and outserts.
Performs all make readies and minor/major adjustments to produce inserts.
Trains Folder Set Up Mechanic I on setup and operational troubleshooting.
Maintains inventory of folder parts; submits requests for replenishment.
Operates insert folding equipment as needed.
Adheres to 6S, SOP’s, and work instructions.
Follows procedure to close out jobs when finished
Adheres to quality standards.
Responsible for the weekly and monthly preventative maintenance.
Performs all folder equipment rebuilds as needed.
Performs other job duties as assigned.
What We Need to Succeed:
Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
One year certificate from a college or technical school preferred.
Must have 3 - 5 years’ experience on Vijuk or comparable miniature folding equipment.
Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
Must have the ability to read and write complex instructions, correspondence and memos.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to pass a ruler test and a line clearance test.
Must have strong mathematical skills.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be capable of maintaining good attendance.
Must be able to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
