Production Coordinator - Patchogue, NY

GENERAL PURPOSE:  Provide administrative support and assist the production and planning department. Facilitate and expedite production jobs outsourced to third party vendors.
Assists with outsourcing duties.
Communicates with vendors and customers on a daily basis.
Maintains up to date and accurate information in both hard copy and electronic formats.
Breaks down job bag/blue box; catalogs and files pertinent information for recordkeeping.
Processes sample requests for customers.
Produces daily production reports.
Supports Customer Service Representatives by providing timely up to date information on production status, issues.
Responsible for placing orders into production by pulling samples.
Maintains up to date job ticket binders for production meetings.
Assists with the capacity call reports and distributing the information.
Performs duties of the Production Clerk when needed.
Assists in issuing miscellaneous PO’s. 
Performs other job duties as assigned. 
Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience required. 
Experience in a similar role, preferred Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word.
Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
Must have good interpersonal communication.
Must possess focused time management skills.
Must be able to maintain good attendance.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to perform essential functions of job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
