The Opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an Ink Technician to join the WestRock-MPS team in Greensboro, NC.  LAB color experience is a plus as we will be looking to your color expertise as well as your understanding of ink and the appropriate properties necessary for high quality printing.

What You Need to Succeed:

•High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) and/or at least three years’ experience in an ink room preferred.

•Prior press operator experience a plus.

•Must have basic computer skills.

•Must be able to run mixers and use densitometers and spectrophotometers.

•Must be able to clearly discuss ink problems with press operators and give them guidance.

•Must fully understand all ink and varnish systems used on presses.

•Must have basic mathematical skills.

•Must demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills.

•Must pass color vision and color hue tests.

•Must be able to maintain good attendance.

•Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

•Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
