GENERAL PURPOSE: Operate high speed machines in support of affixing, personalization and fulfillment/inserting operations to customer specifications, while meeting productivity and quality standards.



  • Sets up multiple card feeders, magnetic stripe readers, glue systems, and plow folders.
  • Positions cameras and configures the cameras to correctly read information.
  • Sets up, manages and maintains the Drop on Demand print system on the machine including managing data and creating new print setups for new clients.
  • Participates and completes all authorized projects, meeting defined functionality requirements, due dates, resource usage, and budgetary requirements.
  • Assists technical support group team members with resolving operations issues.
  • Consults with vendors regarding machine capability or maintenance related issues.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves any run problems that may occur.
  • Remakes any product that does not pass quality standards.
  • Maintains security for user data during processing.
  • Takes on positive leadership (non-management role) with regard to all company policies, regulations, guidelines, and behavior.
  • May be required in assisting in training new operators.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.



  • Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.

  • Past experience running high speed machines such as Gaverhren, MX, Kern, Kirk Rudy and Esatech preferred.

  • Must be proficient in basic computer skills in order to efficiently do data entry.

  • Must have intermediate math skills.

  • Must be able to read a ruler.

  • Must demonstrate sound decision making skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.

  • Must be able to maintain good attendance.

  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.

  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
