Operations Manager – Box On Demand – Battle Creek, MI
Box on Demand by WestRock has an immediate opening for an Operations Manager to coordinate inbound and outbound logistics of capital equipment, oversee scheduling and spare parts inventory management, and work closely with the Vice President of Customer Service to continue improving the systems and practices that make us great.

The opportunity:
This position is designed to be a peer-level complement to our Support Services Manager, who oversees all technical and machine operations outside of the Battle Creek office.

The Operations Manager will oversee all operations within the Battle Creek office, therefore, travel is required less than 10% of the time.

·       Able to supervise a team of warehouse and clerical staff to achieve department goals.

·       Strive toward 100% inventory accuracy.

·       Strive toward 100% machine readiness.

·       Be experienced in the importance of inventory accuracy, and have proven track record in inventory and asset management

·       Able to coordinate inbound and outbound machine logistics in cooperation with our logistics team.

·       Assist the VP of Customer Service in driving change throughout Box on Demand.

What you need to succeed:

·       5-10 years of successful operations or project management is required

·       Familiarity with industrial machinery

·       Bachelors degree in business, accounting, or engineering is preferred
