Purchasing Clerk -  Norcross, GA

The opportunity:

  • This position is responsible for the procurement of parts and labor to support the plant. 

  • Responsible for the management and administration of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) including purchasing, inventory control and work order modules along with software support.  

  • Assist in managing daily maintenance schedules through work order system including safety, planned, corrective, preventive maintenance work orders and all associated required reports.

  • Work with vendors for purchasing of repair and/or replacement parts.



How you will impact WestRock:

  • Ensure that the CMMS software date files are complete and current.

  • Act as local contact for contracted maintenance and manage required quotes including obtaining, organizing and entering quotes JDE.

  • Provide daily support to plant for supplies and requisitions as required.


What you need to succeed:


  • Excellent Interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skills

         ·   Intermediate or higher level computer knowledge

  • Knowledge of maintenance and plant operations
  • Must have highest standard of business and personal ethics
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Self-directed with minimal supervision
