Career Opportunity:

  • Participate in the Root Cause Failure Analyses (RCFA) and other PM programs to improve machine reliability
  • You will be responsible for the effective execution of all maintenance work control processes
  • The Maintenance Planner Scheduler is empowered to manage work priority, develop job plans, define parts and materials and engage the proper resources to develop a safe, effective and efficient plan for PM’s and scheduled repairs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Work in a collaborative work environment where you will help lead maintenance planning meetings with production and multi-skilled maintenance technicians

How you will impact WestRock:

  • Approach all aspect of work with safety as the highest priority
  • Minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Help the plant successfully meet targets by effectively planning and scheduling resources to conduct maintenance activities
  • Entering and execution of purchase requisitions
  • Manage the status of work orders to completion
  • Oversee storeroom organization and inventory

What you need to succeed:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, specifically in the areas of estimating, scheduling and/or materials management
  • Strong working knowledge of maintenance planning and the work order cycle
  • Experience with project planning and scheduling tools
  • Knowledge of utility systems, production equipment and maintenance practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, JDE is a plus
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed
