The opportunity:

 

 

 The Maintenance Manager for our plant In Humboldt, TN ensures overall product quality, waste/productivity goals are met, machine safety and the minimization of downtime through effective equipment maintenance by performing the following key responsibilities:

  • Plant offers high-output machinery with expectations of quality and high volume output in a very safe environment.

  • Experience with motivating and inspiring high performance excellence with Maintenance crews.

  • Safely execute all job duties as assigned and promote safety & safety program throughout the facility.

  • Experience on Corrugators, BHS Corrugators, EVOL, RDC, and Large Martin FFG preferred.

  • Maintain housekeeping excellence with an established program with measurable metrics.

  • Maintain full compliance with GMPs

  • Experience in Environmental Programs Compliance is preferred

  • Experience in managing capital installations and the financial controls of the installations is preferred.

  • Experience in communicating to the Leadership team, updates on down time, machine expectations, and all maintenance updates is preferred.

  • Experience in managing plants producing 1.5 to 2.5 billion square feet annually is preferred.

  • Maintain and execute maintenance work order program with measurable metrics.

  • Responsible for scheduling preventative maintenance for facility equipment. Any  experience with programs for PM excellence is preferred.

  • Purchase all required parts and supplies to ensure maximum equipment up-time with proper approval.

  • Experience in any purchasing programs for financial control/spending with measurable outcomes is preferred.

  • Responsible for building, infrastructure and grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment for all employees.

  • Manage all parts and tool inventories to ensure necessary repairs are completed within minimal equipment downtime.

  • Schedule all work through job priority and equipment availability to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all necessary jobs and safety training is completed and documented as required.

  • Ensure all department documents are completed timely and accurately.

  • Success in managing Maintenance Work teams and measuring according to SMART goals is preferred.

  • Work overtime as determined by customer demand or other mitigating factors.

     

    What you need to exceed:


  • High School diploma or GED; college degree preferred. Technical School preferred.

  • 3 to 5 years of mechanical and/or electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • 3 to 5 years of Maintenance Leadership in a high-performing environment is preferred.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

  • Prior work experience in a corrugated manufacturing facility is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of all equipment is preferred: Corrugator, SUN RDC, any RDC, EVOL, and Large FFG Martin.

  • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude for all related manufacturing equipment.

  • Knowledge of general safety and health programs.

  • Ability to effectively manage time.
