We are seeking Maintenance Electrical and Instrumentation Technician candidates.
What you need to succeed: (Basic Requirements)
High School diploma or G.E.D.
5-+ years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Have a minimum of 2 years full-time or part-time work experience in the last 4 years as an Electrical/Instrument Technician
Demonstrated the drive to achieve and have upward movement in various jobs
Self-motivated desire to learn
Capable of meeting physical requirements to include working weekends/holidays, around heat, noise, work inside/outside, etc.
Has the mechanical, mathematical, and verbal aptitude to learn positions
Proven record of performance
Play by the rules and work well with others
Able to complete and submit an employment application online
Able to operate in heavy manufacturing site and work variable schedule and overtime as needed.
Electrical/Instrumentation Duties
Maintain mill wide electrical power systems, working with AC voltages ranging from, but not limited to 120/240, 277/480, 4,160 and 13,800 and DC voltages ranging from, but not limited to 12, 24 120 and 240.
Install and maintain electrical distribution equipment and components, working with electrical conductors, conduit, cable trays, power panels, motor control centers, and overhead lines.
Install and maintain process control instrumentation, process transmitters, valves, signal wiring and pneumatic tubing.
Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software. Performing programming task as assigned.
Install and maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), working with both low voltage (480) and medium voltage (4,160) equipment. Configure and troubleshoot using local interface and communication software.
