Junior Paralegal – Atlanta, GA

WestRock is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join our corporate legal team in Atlanta, GA.

How you will impact WestRock:

  • Oversee and manage responses to subpoenas and other service of process, as assigned.

  • Assist with other legal support activities, such as employment agreements, reimbursements, collections, etc.

  • Create and manage matters in matter management and e-billing database (Legal Tracker experience is a plus).

  • Assist with litigation holds, custodian interviews, document collection and production working with outside counsel and e-discovery vendors and internal IT resources. 

  • Work is performed in an office setting during general office hours of 8:30 – 5:30; arrival and departure times are flexible within a range.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is required  

  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited Paralegal Program and NALA certification is preferred  

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a clerical/legal administration position. 

  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment; well-organized and able to manage multiple and changing priorities.

  • Strong internal and external communications skills and ability to work with remote managers and business leaders.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.

  • Energized by change and interested in creating solutions through use of technology resources.

  • Excellent written and analytical skills.

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Sharepoint, Excel, Skype and Powerpoint.
