This position is for 2nd and 3rd shift located in West Chester, Ohio!
The Quality Technician position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, audits work in process and finished goods to assure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
How you will impact WestRock
Inspect incoming materials to assure conformance with specifications and release materials for us in
Audit assembly lines during the production process ensuring compliance with work order specifications, and that the finished product meets customer requirement
Verify compliance with GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Review, verify and approve production paperwork in order to facilitate release of customer shipments
Communicate paperwork issues to operations, if necessary
Record data for internal analysis of finished goods
Communicate with Project Managers and Customers, if necessary.
Communicate Company policies, procedures, and customer requirements to other RTMD employees and to
participate/assist in their development as needed
Participate in and/or assist with internal QA audits, Customer audits, and Regulatory Agency audits as
Assist with and/or conduct GMP training, if requested
Responsible for the overall Safety and cleanliness of equipment and area
What you need to succeed
High school diploma or GED minimum
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,
and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals
Proficient computer skills
