We are seeking a QA Supervisor who will be an integral part of the Operations team to ensure compliance with product quality and maintaining all Quality systems.

How you will impact WestRock-MPS

·Facilitates development, implementation and compliance of Quality Systems.
·Facilitates customer audits in the absence of the Quality Systems Manager.
·Provides development and training of management in quality system and quality improvement tools.
·Actively participates as a member of quality teams.
·Facilitates and participates in quality meetings (e.g., customer walkabouts, ALC, etc.).
·Provides supervision to others through motivation, direction, review or feedback of assigned tasks related to quality systems and tools.
·Provides quality technical assistance to production departments.
·Directs the product/process corrective action process.
·Tracks, analyzes and leads initiatives for all internal quality and customer complaint issues in production.
·Locates,evaluates, purchases and implements technology to promote continuous control over product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
·Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production.
·Works closely with production management to maximize product quality and reliability and to minimize cost.
·Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
·Responsible for following Quality Management Systems procedures and documentation.
·Performs other job duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed

·Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or 3 years' minimum experience in quality or a Diploma in a technical field and ASQ CQE/CQA preferred.
·Must have strong communication skills.
·Must have a minimum of 1 year previous supervisory experience.
·Must be familiar with process FMEA, Control Plans and Feasibility assessments.
·Must have ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
·Must have ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
·Must have ability to write routine reports and business correspondences.
·Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents.
·Must be a strong software user, including competency in MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
·Must be able to pass a color & hue test.
·Must be able to maintain good attendance.
·Must be willing and able to work on weekends as needed.
·Must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
