Based at our site in Thatcham, Berkshire we have a 12 months contract for an experienced:

Interim HR and Benefits Administrator

This position provides an administration and data analysis support service to the Group HR function, ensuring that employee data/information is handled, stored, processed and retrieved in a professional, confidential, accurate and timely manner in accordance with data protection and other similar requirements. You will report to the UK Group HR Manager.

How You Will Impact WestRock MPS

·         Full administration support for the Group HR Manager to support the business partnering of the MPS corporate functions

·         Recruitment, maintenance of personnel records (GDPR compliance), induction of new hires, performance and absence management, exit interviews, provide payroll information etc.

·         Gather & analyse data for specific HR initiatives and ad hoc team projects, to include deep dive analysis

·         Presentations and management pack production

·         Provide information to support the annual salary review, management incentive scheme and talent and succession planning programs

·         Prepare personnel statistical management information reports (KPIs, demographics, headcount, turn-over, absences, overtime, training budgets, Personal Development Reviews etc)

·         Assist with the implementation of group-wide policies to support internal communication and employee engagement

·         Ensure UK HR policies and procedures are updated and published on the HR intranet pages

·         Collate organisational structure charts from the regional HR teams and maintain the central database and maintain the MPS email distribution lists

·         Maintain a broad understanding of HR / Pensions / Benefits practice, to meet legislative requirements

·         Assist in the administration of  various aspects of the organisation’s compensation and benefits programmes

·         Assist in the administration of the UK Company Car Scheme

·         Provide cover for and assist the Senior Pensions and Benefits Analyst

 

What You Need To Succeed

·         1+ year generalist experience within a centralised HR environment

·         Ideally CIPD qualified or part-qualified/working towards (or equivalent)

·         Knowledge of current Employment Law and benefits legislation

·         Exposure to payroll, pensions and benefits schemes

·         HRIS & Reward system exposure

·         Current full UK driving licence

·         Clear and effective communicator at all levels

·         Good verbal and written communication skills

·         High level of professionalism and confidentiality

·         The ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

·         Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

·         Knowledge of HR department processes and workflow
