The opportunity

Responsible for providing general HR assistance to assigned division(s).  Contributes to HR agenda relating to employee communications, pre-employment screening, responding to routine questions on HR policies and procedures, and identifying potential issues, etc.  Assists division HR leaders in special projects. 


  • Manages on-boarding process for new hires and contractors and all related administrative processes

  • Contributes to a wide variety of tasks relating to employee relations

  • Prepares monthly/quarterly attrition and headcount reports

  • Manages off-boarding/ exit process to include system termination, severance/sub-pay documents, exit interviews

  • Supports third party benefit administration including FMLA, STD, Unemployment claims, and Benefit Service Center

  • Supports performance management and merit review processes

  • Supports employee training, on boarding, employee development initiatives

  • Assists with recruiting process by scheduling interviews and conducting phone prescreens with candidates

  • Serve as HRIS expert and data analyst in PeopleSoft and Cornerstone systems

  • Process invoices and provide support with expenses

  • Assists division and plants with interpretation and application of policies and procedures, and systems

  • Works closely with benefits, payroll, and compensation departments to resolve employee issues

  • Assists with service and award program

  • Lead and participate in miscellaneous projects as needed

  • Requirements:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or Business, with 2+ years of related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  


    What you need to succeed:

     Experience with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft and Cornerstone) as plus.


    PHR/SPHR preferred
