THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN WINSTON SALEM, NC
The Permanent Display Project Coordinator position coordinates activities and resources in support of the
Permanent Display process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Facilitate the Permanent Display process utilizing engineering drawings, various measuring tools associated with permanent materials and a basic understanding of manufacturing and assembly materials, processes and methodology; manage day to day aspects of projects
Review and select vendors
Coordinate meetings with Engineers, Designers, Sales and Vendors.
Use Company approved Project Management system to create Bill of Materials (BOM), issue Sales Orders, and Invoices.
Coordinate delivery of raw materials
Arrange delivery of finished goods
Travel as required
Actively participate in new technology introductions and/or implementations.
Work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional counterparts to respond to customers, complete orders, improve processes, and enhance company performance
Conduct meetings with Engineers, Designers,
Sales, Vendors and potential customers
Work with manufacturing and assembly facilities to facilitate and troubleshoot operations meet commitments
Other duties as required
This job has no supervisory responsibilities, but does oversee and have responsibility for vendors active in the manufacturing process
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED minimum; 4-year degree preferred or at least 2 to 4 years
Above average time management skills are required as well as the ability to understand engineering drawings and use various measuring tools associated with permanent materials and the
manufacturing process. A basic knowledge of permanent display materials, vendors and manufacturing methodology, including industry terminology is required. Any background relating to
Manufacturing such as Supervisory, Direct Laborer, Quality Manager, Engineer,
or Project Manager is a plus. The flexibility to travel as needed.
