Career Opportunity
Create new innovative designs/packages for the healthcare, adherence, and OTC markets as directed.
How you will impact WestRock

Assists in the creation of market ready structural design that addresses the needs of our customers.

Supports the use of prototyping by producing designs suitable to share with customers.

Uses of essential tools such as cad tables, vacuum formers, and heat sealers.

Designs and formats materials (collateral) that creates compelling visual imagery that
communicates design intent.

Executes the team's creative vision by producing renders, sketches, or prototypes to be used
in presentations with direction.

Supports the execution of packaging concepts through phases of testing and into market launch.

Supports manufacturing sample needs, and transfers as assigned.

Performs other job duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, Package Design, or equivalent.

Must have proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Must have proficient knowledge of ArtiosCad (or similar) and SolidWorks (or similar)Must have ability
to create customer prototypes.

Must be initiative, attention to detail, and positive attitude.Must have excellent time management skills.

Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.

Must demonstrate the ability to apply learnings of manufacturing processes and procedures
throughout all phases of the design process.

Must have the following skills: Package design, secondary packaging, and ability to sketch or
communicate visually.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience with structural design.
Must have advanced PC skills, including email, routine database activity, word
processing, spreadsheets, graphics, CAD software, TOPS and Adobe Illustrator.
Must pass color vision and color hue tests.
Must be able to maintain good attendance.
Must be reliable and dependable.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
